What Is All-on-X?
All-on-X refers to a full arch of fixed replacement teeth supported by a small number of implants, most commonly four to six per arch (the X). Because the implants are positioned at strategic angles in the strongest available bone, many patients qualify even after years of bone loss, often without separate grafting procedures. The result is a fixed bridge that functions like natural teeth: you eat what you want, speak clearly, and never remove anything at night.

Am I a Candidate?
Candidates include patients missing all or most teeth, patients with failing teeth beyond repair, and long-time denture wearers who want a permanent alternative. Because implants are angled into the strongest bone, even patients told they lack bone for implants often qualify. Where additional support is needed, bone grafting can rebuild the foundation first. Dr. Lee evaluates every case individually with a 3D scan.
The All-on-X Process
Your journey starts with a consultation and 3D imaging at our Cupertino office. Dr. Lee creates a digital surgical plan, and on the day of surgery any failing teeth are removed, the implants are placed under IV sedation, and a temporary fixed prosthesis is attached. In most cases you leave the same day with a full set of functional teeth. After three to six months of healing, your final prosthesis is fabricated from the iCam4D record and secured permanently.
